How They Met
Camille says: I worked at Adam’s former company, Springbox. The first week of my new job there, I was in a car accident that put me in an ugly gray neck brace for the next three months. It’s funny to think that we actually got to know each other when I was feeling less than attractive; of course, Adam likes to say that he just got to know my inner beauty first!

Their Perfect Date
Adam says: Last year for Christmas, I surprised Camille with a week in Napa at the Culinary Institute of America’s Bootcamp. Since she loves to cook, it was the perfect gift for her; of course, I’ve been reaping the benefits ever since. The best thing she picked up was the technique for making perfect grilled pizza, and now whenever we have a night with just the two of us, we fire up the grill and try out new combinations. It’s a date night that’s all about teamwork, since both of us have to perform specific jobs to make the pizza come out perfect.

Camille says: And since we traveled in Italy for our honeymoon, every time we make our favorite pizza with fresh tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and basil from our garden, it reminds me of the amazing little restaurants we visited in Rome.

Off the Clock

Camille says: Can you tell we like pizza? At any restaurant, we love the cozy atmosphere of sitting at the bar, drinking wine and watching the behind-the-scenes action in the kitchen.

Why It Works
Camille says: We make each other laugh every single day, and we approach every situation as a team, knowing that we’re in it together. It may be a cliché, but we never go to bed angry — It’s just not worth it!

Adam says: We put the highest priority on our relationship and our family. Even though we’re both independent people, we naturally love spending time together and always make sure we’re communicating about both the big things and the little details in our lives.

Keeping Love Alive
Camille’s advice: Always have fun together! We make every night feel like a special occasion. Even if we’re just eating dinner at home, I’ll set the table with flowers and light a fire, and Adam creates a great music playlist. I can say without a doubt that Adam is my best friend... albeit a best friend that I find incredibly sexy!
