Join Spanish restaurant and tapas bar El Raval for a special multi-course holiday dinner and optional wine pairing curated by chef Laila Bazahm. The special “Nochebuena” menu pays homage to Spain’s Christmas Eve festivities and will be available to guests from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24, alongside the restaurant’s regular dinner menu.
Chef Laila drew inspiration from traditional Spanish holiday dishes to curate this menu of reimagined classics. To start, guests will enjoy tapas like a refreshing dish of East Coast Oysters, deep-fried stuffed rolls called Croquetas de Jamón Iberico, and Uni Torrija, a Spanish-style French toast. Some more substantial dishes include the Catalan Seafood-Saffron Stew; Braised Oxtail Canelones, a cylindrical type of stuffed pasta; and Catalan-Style Turkey Roulade, a dish of filled and rolled meat. For dessert, guests will enjoy a selection of homemade Petit Fours. In addition, chef Laila has curated a list of Spanish wines to go along with each course.
The menu will be available for $95 per person, with the optional wine pairing for an additional $45. El Raval’s regular dinner menu will also be available during this time. Reservations are recommended and can be made online through OpenTable.
