Event Details
Foreign & Domestic, one of Austin’s original farm-to-table and nose-to-tail dining destinations, is excited to celebrate National Wine Drinking Day with a wine-tasting dinner on Monday, February 17th at 6:00 p.m. The ticketed event will feature family-owned, small-batched alcoholic and non-alcoholic wines paired with a four-course meal prepared by the chefs of Foreign & Domestic. Guests will be able to learn about the different wines from experts from the two wineries being highlighted at the event and will receive pairings that complement the four courses.
Since its opening nearly 15 years ago, Foreign & Domestic takes pride in its highly thoughtful and curated wine program. To celebrate this commitment, the restaurant is hosting a special one-time-only event to highlight some of the family-owned wineries they work with. Co-owner and Chef, Sarah Heard has hand-selected the wine supplier Love & Squalor Wine, a family-owned winery based out of Portland, Oregon that creates hand-crafted, small-batch, un-manipulated, nuanced wines. Foreign & Domestic will also offer a non-alcoholic option, Oddbird, a Scandinavian, female-owned company that produces high-quality, liberated wines that still offer the natural flavors of traditional wine.
To attend the event, guests can purchase tickets on OpenTable for $100 per guest. Additional wine will be available for purchase. Limited seating available.
