12th & Chicon: Alley Beautification and Social

Austin Black Pride and Raasin in the Sun are partnering to put on an alley beautification and social to improve and beautify the physical appearance of the 12th and Chicon Alleyway, located behind Big Easy, Full Circle Bar, and Dozen Street. The clean up will be hosted from 9 am to 11 am to clear out any trash and plant flowers, add signage about proper disposal, etc. Once the underutilized alley  is transformed, Austin Black Pride will activate it by holding a free showcase of local musicians, poets, and performance artists from 7 to 10 pm.
