37th Annual Austin Music Awards

For over 30 years, the Austin Music Awards has recognized the accomplishments of local bands and musicians by celebrating them at an annual show unique to the City of Austin. This history-making event recognizes our city’s outstanding live music achievements of the previous year as voted on by the Austin Chronicle readers in the annual Austin Chronicle Music Poll.

This year’s roster features genre-spanning talent including Tomar Williams from soul group Tomar & the FC’s, ever-vibrant funk, blues and jazz outfit The Peterson Brothers and the renowned DJ Mel, widely known as “Obama’s DJ” after performing the 57th Presidential Inauguration.
