Admiral Nimitz Gallery Grand Re-Opening

The National Museum of the Pacific War welcomes all to the re-opening of the renovated and expanded Admiral Nimitz Gallery on February 23, with festivities beginning at 11 a.m. This free event will be a joint celebration of the highly anticipated new gallery design as well as Admiral Nimitz’ birthday, who would have been 135. Visitors can commemorate with birthday cake while exploring the now doubled collection of Nimitz’s artifacts along with new interactive, multimedia exhibits. In addition, guests can enjoy family friendly activities such as official ribbon cutting and a showing of the documentary, From Texas to Tokyo Bay, a biography of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz.
