ASO: Concerts in the Park

Kids frolicking, couples lounging on blankets, old friends in their trusty folding chairs—all united by the sound of music. In its 17th summer season, The Hartman Foundation’s Concerts in the Park, presented by the Austin Symphony Orchestra, is a free ensemble concert series taking place in front of the Long Center City Terrace on Sunday evenings from June 2nd through August 25th. At each show, a different ensemble of the Austin Symphony will perform music from jazz and light classical to pops selections and film scores. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner and blanket and make it a group outing.
