Austin Symphony Orchestra: “Picture Perfect”

Join Austin Symphony Orchestra at the Long Center’s Dell Hall on February 7 and 8 for a classical showcase. ASO concertmaster Jessica Mathaes takes center stage to perform Vivaldi’s popular work, The Four Seasons. After, witness Mathis der Maler by Hindemith. Following Hindemith, enjoy the magic of Mussorgsky’s crowning achievement, Pictures at an Exhibition, which is inspired by an art exhibition and full of picturesque motifs. To add to your experience, visual artist Stephanie Busing will be displaying pictures on the big screen above the orchestra that inspired Mussorgsky’s masterpiece!
