Feature Film Award Winner State of Colorado “Chasing Smoke” documents the impact of Restorative Practices and Restorative Justice when implemented in Texas schools and other institutions serving youth. The film examines how our traditional, punitive disciplinary systems often do not lead to positive outcomes among youth and other marginalized populations, as they do not address the root causes of behavior.
