ContraCommon is proud to present Transfiguration of a Black Girl’s Magic, a solo exhibition by Danielle Demetria East. The Lubbock-born artist and poet will feature objects and poetry to emphasize the traditions, rituals, and magic that Black women possess through pain and healing. This reception is free and open to the public.
