Cumberland Pop-Up Dinner

Apis Restaurant & Apiary is hosting Chef Chris Sapp for a preview of his Japanese-inspired food trailer, Cumberland, opening fall 2019 at 1304 E Cesar Chavez. Guests are invited to attend and settle into a multicultural picnic of dishes like Chow Mein, Hot Fried Chicken, Doriyaki and more.
Sapp is one of Austin’s up-and-coming chef owners with experience cooking for culinary institutions Parkside, Dai Due and Apis Restaurant & Apiary. Inspired by culinary innovations from his grandparents and other Japanese immigrants, Sapp developed Cumberland with the intention of spotlighting the alternative cuisine.
