Día de Los Muertos Exhibition & Community Altars Opening

You’re invited to Mexic-Arte Museum’s 36th Annual Día de Los Muertos Exhibition and Community Ofrenda’s (Altars). Kicking off on September 13 with an opening reception, this year’s exhibit incorporates community ofrendas (altars), el Dia de los Muertos inspired art from their permanent collection, mojigangas from the Museum’s Viva la Vida Parade and Festival and an art installation by Yocelyn Riojas and Jerry Silguero to raise awareness about immigration issues in the Borderlands.
