Empire Save Our Stages Fest Watch Party

Heard Presents announced a special fundraising event and livestream concert watch party taking place at Empire Control Room & Garage beginning on Friday afternoon, October 16 through Sunday night, October 18. Table reservations for the outdoor, open-air event are being accepted. with 100% of all ticket sales being donated directly to the venue’s reopening efforts.

Local residents are invited to partake in a three-day celebration of philanthropy, community, and creativity as the independently-owned concert promoter and venue operator looks to raise funds to save their flagship stage. The fundraiser will also help serve as an in-person livestream watch party for National Independent Venue Association’s (NIVA) recently announced Save Our Stages Music Festival (#SOSFEST), a three-day virtual festival thrown in partnership with YouTube Music featuring original performances, content, and commentary from a diverse selection of 30+ artists across a variety of music genres. The event is hosted by comedian Reggie Watts with an intimate set from Foo Fighters, as well as performances from Brittany Howard, Dave Matthews, The Roots, Miley Cyrus, Monica, Reba McEntire, among many other talented artists.

At the socially-distanced event this Friday, Empire will project all of #SOSFEST’s daily scheduled performances live in real-time through the venue’s massive outdoor 14’x8’ screen. In addition to the virtual music performances, full bar service will also be available.
