Guaranteed To Support Makers Market

Guaranteed To Wrinkle (GTW), the Austin-based organization designed to empower women and support local businesses, is excited to host their upcoming event “Guaranteed To Support Makers” on Sunday, September 22 at Brazos Hall. In partnership with Nest, the pop-up market will feature a select group of local makers and artisans who are dedicated to sustainability and fair-trade practices. As guests sip on complimentary cocktails and interact with Austin makers, they’re also get to listen in at a panel on ‘Why Shopping Sustainably Matters,’ moderated by Taylor Ellison with exciting speakers and enjoy fun activities including a interactive bar experience.

In support of the event, GTW will also host a private screening of The True Cost at Violet Crown Cinema on September 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The documentary focuses on the impact of purchasing clothes and the power the consumer has to affect the cycle through their own purchases. The event is open to GTW members and non-members.
