iACT Hope Awards 2021

Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT), invites you to help support one of Austin’s most uplifting events of the year on Tuesday, April 27 via Zoom live stream. The theme for this year’s Hope Awards is “Calling on our Better Angels” and features an in-depth conversation with the celebrated author and professor Dr. Eddie Glaude.

This year’s honorees include Dr. Colette Pierce Burnette, president of Huston-Tillotson University, philanthropists Nahid and Ali Khataw, and the Buddhist community, Fo Guang Shan Xiang Yun Temple. The evening will also includes special music from Texas troubadour, Sam Baker.
