Juneteenth Parade & 2K Freedom Run

Juneteenth, also known as “Freedom Day,” commemorates the announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas. Join the Greater East Austin Youth Association in their annual festivities featuring a 2K Freedom Run/Walk and exciting parade down MLK Boulevard culminating in a community celebration at Rosewood & Boggy Creek Park.
