MILK Screening with Dustin Lance Black

MILK tells the story of Harvey Milk, a man who bombastically blazed a trail facing off against entrenched bigotry and political turmoil in 1970s San Francisco. Sean Penn is phenomenal (and won an Academy Award) in director Gus Van Sant’s stirring biopic of the first openly gay man to be voted into public office in California.

Following the special screening, MILK screenwriter and social activist Dustin Lance Black will be stopping by for a Q&A to celebrate the release of his new book, “Mama’s Boy.”
