Mystic, Scientist, Scholar, Nun: Music of Hildegard von Bingen

Texas Early Music Project returns to the beautifully sophisticated and powerful music of the 12th century German abbess with a performance of several of Hildegard von Bingen’s compelling antiphons and sequences, performed by 15 women singers. KMFA’s Sara Schneider, host of the nationally syndicated program Early Music Now, will present a 30 minute lecture one hour before each concert.
