2020 Homes Tour: Downtown Doorsteps

Preservation Austin’s 28th Annual Homes Tour, “Downtown Doorsteps,” will be a virtual tour exploring downtown Austin’s historic living spaces in all their forms. From a mid-century high-rise with stunning views of the Texas Capitol to a converted Congress Avenue storefront overlooking the Paramount Theatre, the 45-minute video will include interviews with homeowners, additional footage of each home and a live Q&A session.

Every year the Homes Tour explores some new aspect of Austin’s architectural legacy – it’s a powerful and personal way to connect with our heritage that you can’t find anywhere else. All proceeds, including ticket sales and sponsorships, support Preservation Austin’s advocacy efforts and educational programming year-round.
