Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 10 as the SAFE Storybook Gala brings you A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Austin. This amazing night, celebrating the children at the SAFE Children’s Shelter, will feature an exciting luxury raffle and award presentation to Gretchen and Bob Ellis, who have been involved in the Austin business and nonprofit communities for almost 30 years.
SAFE, a merger of Austin Children’s Shelter and SafePlace, is working to help kids heal and recover from trauma so they can live successful, independent lives. SAFE’s goal is ambitious and simple: stop abuse for everyone. To learn more about safe and their annual gala, go to safeaustin.org.
