Slacker 30th Anniversary Screening and Cast Reunion

Join writer/director Richard Linklater and the cast and crew of SLACKER to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the release of a film that defined Austin for a generation, and ushered in a pivotal movement of American independent film in the 1990s. Over 25 of the original cast and crew will join to celebrate the milestone, and a Q&A with Richard Linklater will follow the screening.

Presented in partnership with Austin Film Society (AFS), who is celebrating the reopening of their 2-screen art house theater, the AFS Cinema, on July 15th.
