This Light of Ours Opening Day

This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement tells a visual story of the day-to-day struggles of everyday citizens working toward equality in the face of violence and Jim Crow laws in the 1960s. As a special addition to the exhibition while it is in Austin, the Bullock Museum will include more over a dozen additional images representing activism in Austin’s own local history.
See the exhibit starting February 15 through May 31.
