Thread Count Exhibition Opening Night

Five female Austin artists have come together to create Thread Count, a show dedicated to fabric art. The artists explore the limits and possibilities of fabric art and batik working in their own captivating themes and styles. A common thread between the artists’ work is the tension they experience whilst navigating their own ‘traditional’ female roles in art, lives and the world as a whole.
