Townes Van Zandt: Be Here to Love Me

Austin Film Society is showing a special screening of Be Here to Love Me: A Film About Townes Van Zandt on June 16, the film’s 15th anniversary. Texas music legend Van Zandt was at the center of Austin’s outlaw country scene in the 1970s. Through interviews and rarely seen footage viewers can better understand a piece of Austin’s history.
