Urban Roots: Let’s Get Cooking with Jam Sanitchat

Sponsored by Whole Foods Market and the City of Austin Office of Sustainability, “Let’s Get Cooking with Urban Roots” is a video series fundraiser creating an opportunity for the organization to fulfill its two-part mission: to use food and farming to transform the lives of young people and inspire, engage, and nourish the community.

For three weeks, Urban Roots will offer a box packed full of produce from the East Austin Farm, specialty selections from local Austin businesses, plus a featured recipe from three local chefs. The series will include a cooking tutorial, a message from Urban Roots Executive Director Max Elliott and our youth leaders, plus more exclusive content. On July 1, the series will conclude with Chef Jam Sanitchat of Thai Fresh who will whip up her delectable Green Curry.
