The UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum will host the opening reception for its annual Design Shine exhibition on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Presented in partnership with AIA Austin since 2017, the juried competition highlights emerging architects and designers through site-specific installations across the sculpture garden. This year’s winners—four local teams and individuals—explore the theme Nestled in Nature with works that incorporate striking light elements visible during evening programs or from the street.
The exhibition will remain on view through March 4, 2026.
