George brought over 20 years of global business experience to his previous role as publisher and co-owner of TRIBEZA. A native of Houston, he has lived in Austin since 1999, and his enthusiasm for the city and where it is heading has never faltered. Whether you are seeking the most melt-in-your-mouth chocolate mocha cake (Uppercrust Bakery) or the tastiest ginger snap cookie (Texas French Bread), there is no need for Yelp when concierge George is around. Since his graduation from Darden Business School at the University of Virginia, he has lived and worked in Houston, Jakarta, Charlottesville, San Francisco, and London to name a few. When not raising the TRIBEZA team’s spirits, George is working as the Director of Business Development for Westend Capital Management and serving on the Board of Directors for Mexic Arte Museum and the Charles Moore Foundation. In his free time you can find him mountain biking in Walnut Creek Park, taking yoga at Pure Austin Gym or rowing on Lady Bird Lake. He lives in Rosedale with his beloved Golden Retriever, Logan. And wherever George goes, his trusty iPhone always follows.
