The Maestro’s Dream Gala was a dazzling evening in support of the Austin Symphony Orchestra, held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the Junior League of Austin Community Impact Center. For a bit of fun, attendees were invited to celebrate the evening by dressing in formal wear reflecting their favorite period in music history.

Guests were welcomed with a lively reception featuring passed hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, live music, and an engaging silent auction. As the ballroom doors opened, attendees enjoyed a beautiful musical performance, dinner, and inspiring remarks highlighting the Symphony’s artistic journey through history. The excitement continued with a live auction, followed by a dessert reception with a DJ and live entertainment.

The Music Continues: A Spectacular Spring Season

This spring, the Austin Symphony Orchestra continues its exciting season with a series of standout concerts.

  • In March, “Mind Warp” blends cinematic drama with symphonic power, featuring works like Herrmann’s “Psycho: A Short Suite” and Strauss’ “Also sprach Zarathustra.”
  • April brings “Rodrigo and The Requiem,” pairing Rodrigo’s passionate “Concierto de Aranjuez” with Mozart’s timeless “Requiem.” April also features the community-focused “Beethoven and Beyond” concert.
  • In May, “Rhapsody in Blue presents” Gershwin’s iconic score. Closing the season is the high-energy “Video Games Live” concert, showcasing beloved video game music in a multimedia orchestral experience.
