This Year’s ACL Festival Offers Bungalows and New Levels of VIP Luxury Without Limits

With nearly half a million attendees flocking to the Austin City Limits Music Festival each year, and more than 140 artists showcasing the best of all major music genres, ACL Festival is a cornerstone of the music scene and a beloved event for the community.

Since its launch in 2002, ACL Festival has seen remarkable changes.  Originally a one-weekend event, the festival has expanded to two three-day weekends to accommodate the increasing number of fans. In the early days, a one-day pass cost just $25, granting access to a modest park. However, as the festival’s popularity grew, so did the scale of the event.

Relax, Recharge, and Refuel

In 2019, the festival introduced tiered ticketing with GA+, which provides access to private lounges, air-conditioned restrooms and full-service bars. Building on this success, the ACL Festival now offers five luxury experiences: GA+, VIP, Platinum, Y’all Access, the Cabana Experience, and the newly introduced Exclusive Bungalows.

“We are constantly looking for ways to introduce new experiences for our fans,” explains Stacey Rodrigues, revenue director of C3 Presents. “From the inception of ACL Festival, the VIP experience has been for the fan who is passionate about live music but also craves an opportunity to step away from the crowd to relax, recharge and refuel between acts.”

Brand-New ACL Festival Bungalows 

With these ongoing innovations, luxury has become limitless at ACL Festival. 

“While the Cabanas have been a big hit, we had numerous requests for a more intimate entertaining space,“ says Rodrigues. 

Designed to provide just that, these bungalows accommodate up to 10 guests and feature full VIP access, including air-conditioned restrooms, complimentary WiFi and entry to exclusive groves and viewing decks.

These features are located above the festival grounds rather than amidst the action, with panoramic views of the Austin city skyline and a great perch to watch acts on the Honda Stage. As Rodrigues explains, “The beauty of the cabanas and bungalows is that we are able to go up rather than out. By building on top of existing structures, we don’t impact the footprint for the general admission fans.”

TV screens will keep the excitement going by broadcasting live festival stages and top sports games, so attendees won’t miss a moment when they’re away from the crowd. ACL Festival Bungalow ticket holders can enjoy a private bar with complimentary all-day drinks, grab-and-go snacks and a dedicated staff on hand to cater to any festival needs. 

Pricing for this VIP package starts at $30,000, covering 10 three-day Bungalow wristbands valued at $3,000 each, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Austin Parks Foundation.
