On September 12 at the Fairmont Hotel, The Official Drink of Austin welcomed local bar teams to a friendly competition aimed at crafting the essential Austin cocktail. Alongside an all-star panel of judges, including previous champion Ryan Foster of Juniper, onlookers sampled cocktails and voted for their personal favorite. This year’s grand prize went to the Apis Restaurant bar team with their delicious concoction, the Peaches and Bees cocktail. Proceeds from the evening benefited the Austin Food & Wine Alliance.
