Moontower Comedy Festival Returns to Austin with Star-Studded Lineup
Get ready for a laughter-filled fest featuring the nation's top comedians
Prepare to laugh until your sides ache as Moontower Comedy Festival returns to Downtown Austin on April 7–19, bringing with it a star-studded lineup of comedians and a slew of club shows. Newly announced headliner shows include Sarah Sherman & Meg Stalter, Lucy Darling, Jena Friedman, Murray Hill and Joe Dombrowski.

Headliners Galore
Leading the charge at this year’s festival are some of the biggest names in comedy such as Albert Brooks, Kathy Griffin and Marc Maron. Headlining shows are at historic stages at the Paramount and State Theatres, featuring comedians like Leslie Jones, Jeff Arcuri, Vir Das, Cristela Alonzo and Brad Williams.
For dedicated festival enthusiasts, the heart of Moontower lies in its club shows. From April 15-18, more than 100 comedians will take the stage across over 10 venues, for a four-day comedic extravaganza. Among this year’s highlights are Stamptown, the live dating show UpDating and Jeremiah Watkins’s Standup On The Spot.
