Austin’s New Year at Auditorium Shores
Lawn opens at 7 p.m.
The City of Austin’s annual celebration will return to Auditorium Shores at 7 p.m. with a free night of live music from The Bros Fresh, The Suffers, and The Band of Heathens, followed by a spectacular midnight fireworks show to ring in 2024. Bob Schneider’s Great Big Spectacular NYE Party
Local icon Bob Schneider will perform at the beloved Paramount Theatre this New Year’s Eve. Schneider, a singer-songwriter who has released over 12 albums in his illustrious career, has hosted this annual tradition at the glittering venue for many years. Gary Clark Jr. at ACL Live at the Moody Theater
Bring in the New Year with a performance by Austin-native and four-time GRAMMY award winner Gary Clark Jr. at ACL Live. Gary Clark Jr. is a contemporary rock ‘n’ roll trailblazer, a virtuoso in the blues who skillfully weaves reggae, punk, R&B, hip-hop, and soul into the genre, giving it a fresh and modern twist. The Thinkery: New Year’s Eve Celebration
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
This one’s for the kids! The Thinkery is always a family favorite, and this limited-capacity affair will include balloon drops, bubble wrap stomps, crafting, and music. There’s no need to stay up until midnight as the event will be held at two kid-friendly times, 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tickets are available for $35 here.
The Decline of Hotel Vegas New Year’s Eve
7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Live at the Hotel Vegas and Volstead Danceteria, check out the music of icons like Depeche Mode, Madonna, and The Cure, as performed by local bands. Tickets for this 21-plus dance party are available for under $50, making it one of the more budget-friendly celebrations in town.
Midnight Cowboy New Year’s Eve Party at Thompson Austin
9 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Doors open at 9 p.m.
Superstition will host their 1st anniversary New Year’s Eve party with a DJ set by Lane 8 and special guest Luzi Tudor. Celebrate the New Year in Y2K fashion at Electric Shuffle, an Austin favorite shuffleboard bar in downtown Austin! 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Blue Year’s Eve by When Where What ATX
Austin’s favorite Instagram account When Where What Austin, known for their event calendar full of cool events and parties around town, is throwing their first-ever New Year’s Eve party. Speakeasy’s Legendary New Year’s Eve Bash
8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Speakeasy has thrown its incredible bash every year since 1997, making it one of Austin’s longest-running ways to honor the new year. Zanzibar’s New Year’s Eve Party
9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Looking for a rooftop get-together? Zanzibar is hosting an island-themed celebration seven stories above the city. The Belmont’s Capital Countdown New Year’s Eve Party
8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
