On Sunday afternoon, March 8, TRIBEZA and Hotel Magdalena welcomed guests to the Bobbie Nelson Lawn for an intimate celebration honoring International Women’s Day. The laid-back gathering brought together members of the local community for live music, cocktails and a celebration of women.

Attendees mingled on the lawn while Austin singer-songwriter Haley Anna delivered a soulful piano and vocal performance. Her set provided the soundtrack for the afternoon as guests relaxed, caught up with friends and celebrated women in music, beauty and media.

The event also supported a meaningful cause. Donations were accepted for The SAFE Alliance (SAFE), a Central Texas nonprofit that provides services and advocacy for survivors of child abuse, sexual assault, sex trafficking and domestic violence. The organization’s work continues to play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families throughout the region.

In addition to the music, guests enjoyed cocktails and sampled products from LONA Beauty, a new Austin-based skincare company preparing for its official launch. The brand offered attendees an early look at its beauty offerings while adding to the afternoon’s celebratory atmosphere.

The gathering was designed to highlight the power of local collaboration, bringing together creatives, entrepreneurs and community leaders for a relaxed yet meaningful afternoon.

The International Women’s Day event is part of TRIBEZA’s ongoing 25th anniversary celebration, which includes a series of events throughout March. Upcoming festivities include an Art Walk in partnership with the Trail Conservancy and a Birthday Bash at Antone’s Nightclub, where ’80s pop star Tiffany will headline.
