Kind Clinic Celebrates 10th Anniversary During Pride Month Celebration in Austin
Texas Health Action’s Kind Clinic Raises $220,000 to Support HIV Prevention and Patient Assistance Programs

On Saturday, June 14, Texas Health Action’s Kind Clinic celebrated their 10 Years of Kindness Gala, presented by Avita Pharmacy. Founded in 2015 by Dr. Cynthia Brinson and Mark Erwin, Kind Clinic continues to provide HIV prevention and care to Central Texans.
The special Pride Month celebration at the Fairmont Austin raised $220,000 for the Kind Patient Assistance Program, which helps cover out-of-pocket costs for services like medication and lab testing, and provides critical assistance with navigating insurance, connecting patients to prescription resources and ensuring continuity of care. Co-hosted by Cynthia Lee Fontaine (from “Ru Paul’s Drag Race”) and Johnny Sibilly (from “Pose”), the event celebrated the organization’s founders, volunteers, staff and supporters.
