Travis Club Austin Hosts Annual Tacos & Tequila Event at Hotel Ella

Travis Club Austin hosted their second annual Tacos & Tequila event at Hotel Ella on May 1, 2025. Members, friends, partners, and owners/developers Haas & Haynie and Austin-based Castle Hill Partners were among those who attended the event. Guests enjoyed bites and signature cocktails by Hotel Ella, tequila tastings by Cantera Negra, sweet treats from Churro Burro ATX, and a live performance by Mariachi Relámpago.

In addition to the event’s festivities, members were able to meet face-to-face with newly hired General Manager, Chris Franke, in his first days in Austin. A 22-year hospitality and private club executive, Franke most recently served as General Manager of The Glenbrook Club, one of Lake Tahoe’s most exclusive communities and home to Nevada’s oldest golf course. Franke brings his vast hospitality experience and knowledge of luxury developments to Travis Club and will create a premier membership program built around luxury living with the highest levels of hospitality and service.
