Twenty-five years after its launch, Austin lifestyle magazine TRIBEZA is marking the milestone with a series of public events and a digital retrospective that reflect its long-standing focus on Austin’s creative community.

The anniversary lineup includes a benefit concert for International Women’s Day, a guided public art walk along the city’s waterfront and a birthday concert headlined by ’80s pop icon Tiffany.

“For me, TRIBEZA has always been about celebrating the people who make Austin such a special place,” Editor-in-Chief Heidi Okla said. “As we mark our 25th anniversary, we wanted to create fun, accessible ways for the community to come together and share moments of connection, creativity and joy.”

A look back at 25 years

Publisher Krissy LittleStar Hearn said the anniversary reflects the publication’s close relationship with the city it covers.

“As we celebrate 25 years of TRIBEZA, I’m struck by how deeply our story is intertwined with Austin’s,” LittleStar Hearn said. “We’ve grown together, navigated change, and stayed true to who we are because of the community that defines us.”

In addition to the live events, TRIBEZA will launch a digital anniversary series at tribeza.com/25years. The online section will feature “Where Are They Now” profiles of past cover stars, selections from the magazine’s archives and new multimedia content documenting Austin’s cultural evolution.
