The “Red Poppy Capital Of Texas,” Georgetown, Texas, celebrates the return of the 25th Annual Red Poppy Festival this April 26-28, 2024. It will be the 25th year that the city has hosted the popular, three-day festival to celebrate the history and beauty of its poppy season. Red poppies have been a part of Georgetown’s landscape for more than 100 years; it is one of the few locations in the United States where red poppies reseed each year.
The 2024 festival will feature live music throughout the weekend, handcrafted work from local
artisans, a classic car show, food and family-friendly activities – including a Kid’s Fun Zone – and
more. The Red Poppy Parade takes place Saturday morning passing through Georgetown’s
historic town square, known as “The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas.”
