McLennon Pen Co. presents “Won’t You Be My Neighbor,” a thought-provoking exhibition by Austin-based artist Ben Siekierski, from December 13, 2024, to January 11, 2025. The collection explores modern anxieties and the symbolic tension between security and surveillance in suburban neighborhoods.
Through paintings, drawings, and sculptures, Siekierski examines the unsettling duality of protective symbols—security cameras, fences, and neighborhood watch signs—that simultaneously offer safety and evoke unease.
An opening reception will take place on Friday, December 13, from 6 to 9 p.m.
