BodyRock ATX, one of Austin’s longest-running cultural gatherings, will celebrate its 15th anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Regal Rooms with a headlining set from Grammy-winning DJ Jazzy Jeff. Founded in 2010 by Riders Against the Storm (RAS) and DJ Chorizo Funk, BodyRock ATX began as a free monthly event at Plush and has since evolved into a dynamic cultural movement. Proceeds from this year’s event will support DAWA, a nonprofit founded by Jonathan “Chaka” Mahone of RAS to provide direct financial assistance to BIPOC artists and community workers in Austin.
