Wicked, the acclaimed Broadway production, offers a fresh perspective on the events unfolding in the Land of Oz. Before Dorothy’s arrival, a young woman with emerald-green skin—intelligent, passionate, and misunderstood—takes center stage. Her encounter with a bubbly, popular blonde sparks an unexpected friendship, defying initial rivalry. However, societal labels soon brand one as “good” and the other as “wicked,” challenging their bond and unraveling the complexities of morality and perception.
