Design Austin and The Trail Conservancy will debut “WaterWork,” a large-scale video installation projected on the historic Seaholm Intake Building, on Thursday, September 12, and Tuesday, September 17 at dusk. Local artists have created 15-second to 2-minute videos exploring the coexistence of nature and the city in downtown Austin. This marks the first use of Seaholm Intake as a large-scale exterior canvas. The event includes a special Design Austin Cruise with curators and artists discussing the project, offering prime viewing from the lake.
The Design Cruise is sold out, but you can still enjoy the show from Auditorium Shores, the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge, or by personal watercraft.
