DORF presents “Without Borders / Sin Fronteras,” a solo exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Táhila Moss, opening Friday, Jan. 31. The exhibition examines land sovereignty, colonial frameworks, and their lasting impact on Indigenous communities and ecosystems.
Moss’s work documents life along the U.S.-Mexico border, capturing landscapes, community gatherings, and environmental resistance while exposing the disruption caused by fences and barriers. Her photographs highlight sacred sites of the Esto’k Gna Nation (Carrizo/Comecrudo Tribe) in the Brownsville, Texas, region and their ongoing fight for sovereignty. The project, supported by World Monuments Fund and Magnum Foundation, expands her documentation of the Esto’k Gna’s political actions and cultural preservation.
The exhibition runs through May 10, with a community event on Feb. 1.
