What
Emmer & Rye will host a dinner on May 22 celebrating legendary chef Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday. The event is part of the Jacques Pépin Foundation’s 90/90 campaign—a nationwide series of 90 chef-hosted events recognizing Pépin’s legacy as a pioneering educator and culinary figure.
For the occasion, Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group Partners and chefs Kevin Fink and Tavel Bristol-Joseph will reunite in the kitchen to create a menu inspired by Pépin’s signature techniques. Dishes will reinterpret classics from The Complete Techniques using seasonal ingredients and the restaurant’s sustainability-driven approach.
Highlights include cider-marinated red snapper goujonnettes with sauce tartare, Sonoran wheat gnocchi Parisienne, and Pain de Ménage with chicken liver pâté and cultured butter. Entrées will feature parchment-baked Gulf grouper and a trussed stuffed chicken in sauce chasseur.
Reservations are available through OpenTable and are strongly encouraged. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space permits. Proceeds support the Jacques Pépin Foundation’s mission to improve lives through culinary education.
