Prepare for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024, the only one visible in Texas during the first half of the 21st century. Join us on a captivating journey through space as Dr. Rob Pettengill, NASA JPL Solar System Ambassador and Astronomy in Chile Education Ambassador, delves into the science of eclipses, provides information on safety during the eclipse, and gives tips on how best to capture the eclipse with any camera. During the talk, Dr. Pettengill will also share images and stories of previous eclipses and other astronomical occurrences.
