HOME Austin’s yearly holiday fundraiser, HOME Cookin’ For the Holidays, returns this Dec. 6, 2023, with a free livestream featuring music, cooking, and more! The stream will take place at 7 p.m. and will broadcast on the following websites: KUTX YouTube channel, HOME webpage, and HOME Facebook page.

Hosted by the fabulous Turk Pipkin, this stream will showcase music videos, cooking tips, holiday stories, and shout outs from all of your favorites, including Bob Schneider, Ray Benson, Jackie Venson, Leo Nocentilli of The Meters, Hot Club of Cowtown, Bill Kirchen, Marcia Ball, Sunny Sweeney, Marcia Gay Harden and more. There will be a special tribute to Ms. Lavelle White, HOME’s first client and the inspiration for the org’s creation. ALSO… see Kevin Russell do the spoon dance!
