Impact Arts has announced the eagerly anticipated lineup for Summer Stock Austin (SSA) 2024, under the banner of “Celebrating 20 Years: A Season of Magic and Memories.” This milestone season is set to unite the richness of the past with the promise of the future in a vibrant tribute to the arts. The season’s centerpiece will be two beloved productions: the timeless musical “Guys & Dolls” and the enchanting Disney classic “The Little Mermaid.”
Scheduled to take place at the McCullough Theatre from July 27 to August 11, 2024, SSA 2024 promises a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity, and the enduring power of storytelling. Alongside the main productions, a special one-night-only anniversary event titled “20 Season Spectacular” is planned for July 20, 2024. This event will serve as a joyous celebration of two decades of theatrical excellence and will feature performances by current and past SSA members, offering audiences a nostalgic journey through memorable moments from past productions and a glimpse into the future with previews of upcoming shows.
Tickets for the season performances and the anniversary event will be available for purchase starting May 17, 2024, at 10 a.m. Additionally, special VIP packages will be offered for “The Little Mermaid,” providing audiences with exclusive experiences such as post-show meet-and-greets with characters and unique souvenir items.
