Kalimotxo, the vibrant Spanish restaurant and cocktail bar from the award-winning Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, launches Sunday Sessions, a new weekly celebration featuring all-day happy hour and curated DJ sets starting at 3 p.m. The series begins on Sunday, July 20, with a special kick-off curated by House Sips Collective.
Each week will feature a different DJ Collective, offering a rotating lineup of music and programming that makes Kalimotxo a consistent Sunday destination. Additional Sunday Session talent will be announced soon, and this Sunday’s lineup includes:
- 3-4:30 p.m. – Rafa Caballero
- 4:30-6 p.m. – Simpli George
- 6-8 p.m. – FlakoStik
Kalimotxo’s happy hour features $10 burgers and cocktails and half off bottles of wine and select tapas. Each round of drinks ordered during happy hour will include a complimentary snack such as olives, chips, or a special pintxo, bringing a fun taste of Spain to Austin. The happy hour food menu features several pintxos and tapas, including $10 Croquetas de Jamón (ham fritters), $5 Patatas Bravas, a $10 Kali Burger, a $15 Spanish Cheese Plate, and more.
