The latest solo exhibition by artist Michael Velliquette, “The Distance Within Us,” will open with a public reception on Wednesday, June 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum.
The exhibition features Velliquette’s most expansive display of his intricate paper sculptures to date, alongside a new series of powder-coated metal works. Guests at the opening will get an exclusive first look at the pieces while enjoying specialty cocktails in a celebratory setting.
The reception is free and open to the public.
