Kick off 2025 at the New Year’s 5K Relay & Kids’ Mile, a family-friendly event at Austin’s historic Pease Park. The 5K Relay features teams of three running a mile each along the scenic Shoal Creek Trail, with divisions for Competitive and Open & Family categories. Kids can enjoy age-group heats, a 500-meter pre-k run, and the crowd-favorite 25-meter toddler trot.
The morning wraps up with the 6th Annual Memorial Mile Walk, celebrating the spirit of play while supporting the David Phillips Foundation’s free after-school sports programs for Title I schools in Austin.
