Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, the luxury Texas Hill Country destination located just 20 minutes from downtown Austin, is excited to announce the all-star lineup of acclaimed chefs and restaurants for SMOKE’s Masters of the Flavor: Barbecue Showdown on Saturday, Aug. 2.
This all-access culinary throwdown brings together the best pitmasters and chefs from Texas and Oklahoma for a friendly cross-state competition. From 5 to 9 p.m., top talent from both states will go head-to-head, showcasing the bold flavors and distinct barbecue styles that define Texas and Oklahoma. A panel of celebrity judges, and barbecue experts, will evaluate the competition, awarding top honors in multiple categories.
Texas will be represented by a powerhouse lineup that includes Houston’s Feges BBQ, Teddy’s Barbecue from Weslaco, Bar-A-BBQ from Montgomery and Zavala’s Barbecue from Grand Prairie.
